Gary G. Turner
Gary Gordon Turner, 73, of Michigantown, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Wesley Manor in Frankfort.
He was born September 22, 1943, in Frankfort, to the late Zern and Beatrice Price Turner. On December 30, 1963, he married Evelyn Huffer at the Hills Baptist Church; she survives.
Gary graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1961. He formerly worked for Turnerâs Heating and Cooling in Frankfort for over 25 years. He enjoyed flying and had worked at the Frankfort Municipal Airport as a manager for several years. Gary loved NASCAR and enjoyed flying Tony Stewart around the country for different races. His last employment was with Rodkey Implements as a service technician.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, John (Melissa) Turner, of Michigantown; sister, Virginia Bohnenkamp, of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, son, Gordon Turner; and brothers, Max and Larry Turner.
