Gary M. Henricks
Gary M. âDogâ Henricks, 61, of Mulberry, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. at IU Health in Lafayette.
He was born September 14, 1951, in Frankfort, the son of William and Georgia Baldwin Henricks.
On January 15, 1989, he married the former Jody Harrison; she survives.
Gary was a 1969 graduate of Frankfort High School. He served in the United States Army from 1969-1972. Upon his return from the military, Gary worked at Mallory Controls and later as a conductor for Norfolk and Western Railroad for 14 years. He was a member of the American Legion in both Frankfort and Kirklin and 40&8.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Karen Henricks of Monticello; two nieces, Alison Coble and Gretchen Reed; and one nephew, Chad Henricks.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William A. Henricks.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort with Pastors John Leitzel and Paul Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery with military rites provided.
Memorials in Garyâs name may be made to the American Legion or to the Clinton County Humane Society.
