Genevieve “Jenny” Morrow, 92, of Lebanon and formerly of Frankfort, died at 5:35 pm at Hickory Creek at Lebanon.

She was born January 1, 1921, in Mulberry, the daughter of Grover C., Jr. and Lena DuVall Garrison.

Jenny was married to William D. Force who died during World War II.  She later married Charles Robert “Bob” Morrow; he preceded her in death also.

Jenny graduated from Mulberry High School.  She worked for Garrison Oil Co. and various other places.  She loved chocolate and Big Band music.  Jenny played drums with Freddy Shaffer’s All-Girl Orchestra in the 1930’s.

Surviving Jenny are her brother, James Garrison of Bloomington; one sister, Evelyn Schetzsle of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters, Agnes Garrison, Violet Bryan, Hazel Blood, Edith Harvey, Helen Garrison, Eileen Weidner, and Nadine Owens Swan; and three brothers, Grover “Gary” Garrison, Jr., William P. Garrison, and Wallace Garrison.

Visitation for Jenny will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.

Memorials in Jenny’s name may be made to Boone County Senior Service, Inc.
