Geoffrey W. Burnette, 53, Lebanon, went to be with our Lord from his home.
Mr. Burnette graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1975. He
attended Purdue University and St. Louis Christian College. He was a
service tech at ACCS from 1986 until the present.
He hiked the Blue Ridge Mountains and loved to fish. His hobbies were reading and listening to music. He was a seeker of knowledge. Geoff was tenacious when it came to dissecting computer problems, turning them into solutions.
He was born April 29, 1957, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Wesley W. and Hazel (Sterling) Burnette. He married Terry L. (Hymer) Burnette, and though they were divorced, she and Geoff were best friends.
Survivors include his mother of Michigantown; two sisters, Pam (husband Rick) Mithun of Noblesville and Vicki (husband Ira) Greeno of Frankfort; two brothers, Phil Burnette of Michigantown and Dean Burnette of Burnettsville; and two nieces, Krista and Karis Mithun.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven.
Calling will be noon-2p.m. Friday at Genda Funeral Home, followed by the service at 2 p.m. with Minister Dean Burnette officiating. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Clinton County Cancer or the Humane Society of Clinton County.
