Glenn Greeno

Glenn Lewis Greeno, 75, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. He was born in Frankfort, on September 19, 1945, to Clyde and Anna Belle (Lewis) Greeno. He married Chris Knipp on July 1, 1978, at the St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Frankfort; she survives.

Glenn graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1965 then served in the US Army. He was a longtime trucker and had worked for General Battery/Exide and Roadway.  Glenn enjoyed woodworking, Indianapolis Colts, NASCAR, western movies, Pink Floyd, and Red Skelton but most of all he enjoyed being with family and friends. He was a handyman and was known as a Jack of all trades and a master of most. Glenn will be remembered as a very loving, caring, and giving husband. He had been a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Chris; daughter, Beth Ann; sister, Norma Hoffman of Kokomo; sisters in law, Kerry Greeno of Louisville, KY and Patti Greeno of Kokomo; brothers in law, Brad (Debi) Knipp and Roger (Susan) Butler of Frankfort; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews; and Mallory, all whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl E. Greeno and Donald G. Greeno; sister, Marilyn Hankins; brothers in law, Gene Hankins and Jerry Hoffman; and sister in law, Marcia E. Butler.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunnell Cemetery.
