Gloria Alanis de Santillan, 55, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 3, 1968, in Acámbaro, Guanajuato, Mexico to Luis and Carmen (Santos) Alanis. She married Jose Juan Santillan; they later divorced.
Gloria had worked for CNH Industrial in Lebanon for the past 12 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her grandchildren, loved to cook, and was always happy.
Gloria is survived by her son, Juan R. Santillan, Jr. of Lebanon; brothers, Noe, Luis, and Horacio Alanis; sisters, Faviola and Carmen Alanis; and grandchildren, Julissa, Ruben, and Monserrat Santillan.
In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by a daughter, Tania Santillan and a brother, David Alanis.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church 600 St. Mary’s Avenue in Frankfort with Father Paul Cochran officiating.
