Grace M. Snipes

Grace M. Snipes, 92, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at her home.

She was born July 30, 1923, in Avery, to Claude D. and Nellie B. Messler Faust.  On December 12, 1968, Grace married Tillman W. Snipes; he preceded her in death on April 28, 2000.

Grace graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1942.  She was a homemaker and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Frankfort and Women of the Church of God.

Surviving are one son, Harold B. Stewart of Frankfort; brother, Clinton Faust of Forest; and two grandsons, Jake & Scott Stewart.

In addition to her husband, Grace is preceded in death by her parents, Sister, Charlene Smith; brother-in-law, Charlie Smith; brother, Elmer Faust; sister-in-law, Thelma Faust.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Steve Denniston will officiate.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials in Grace’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
