Gracie Helen Posey

Gracie Helen Posey, 93, of Frankfort, passed away on December 28, 2018, at Wesley Manor.  She was born on March 29, 1925, in Russellville, Kentucky, to Andrew and Bessie (West) Trent.  Gracie married Ralph Ewing, who passed away.  She then married Elmer Posey Jr. on October 18, 1958. 

Gracie was a homemaker.  She was a member of Kelley Crossing Church.  She was also a member of the VFW, American Legion, Eagles, and the Moose Lodge.  She was an avid gardener, loved to embroidery, go fishing, and was the best cook.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Terry (Loretta) Posey of Lebanon; daughters Connie (Joe) D’Agostino of Florida, Marlene (Allen) Faulkner of Lebanon; stepchildren, Debbie Harter, Denise Howard, Jody Morton; sisters, Betty West, Christine Birgwell, and Irlene Thompson and brother, Bill Trent. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Ralph and Leon Ewing. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, from 1 – 4:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, at 11 am with burial to follow at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
