Gwendolyn K. Everett

Gwendolyn K. Everett, 59, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born January 12, 1958, in Lafayette; her parents, Franklin Everett and Charlotte Zook Everett Hufford both preceded her in death.  Gwen was formerly married to Wesley Hodges.

Gwen graduated from Rossville High School in 1976.  Throughout her life, she worked at Fairfield, Alcoa, and Frito Lay, and most recently at Rossville Schools as a bus driver.  Gwen was an animal lover.

Surviving Gwen are her son, Shane William Lee Everett; brother, Glen J. (Melissa) Hufford, of rural Rossville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.  A private family service will be held.  Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.  Memorials in Gwen’s name may be made to Clinton County Cancer.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
