H. Ruth Dunn

H. Ruth Dunn,101, passed into the presence of her Lord Friday, April 17, 2020, at her home. She was born March 5, 1919, in Marion, Illinois, to Archa and Rosa Gray Barton.  On June 2, 1937, she married Troy Dunn. He passed away, after 56 years of marriage, on January 11, 1993.

Ruth was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Frankfort for many years where she continued as treasurer past her 90th birthday. She sold Rawleigh products for several years and was known as the Rawleigh dealer of Clinton County. After that, she worked at the Clinton County Clerks office and retired after 18½ years.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra Ropp of Logansport; sons, Rev. Lonny (Mary) Dunn of Frankfort, and Gary (Linda) Dunn of Mesquite, TX; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Eula Barton and Olive Secund.

Beginning at 1:30pm on Wednesday April 22nd, a live audio feed of the funeral service will be shared to the funeral home parking lot for those who wish to attend via the safety of their vehicles. At the conclusion of the funeral service, a procession will proceed to Kilmore Cemetery for a committal service followed by a pass by viewing.

For those who are unable to attend, a live stream of the funeral service will be available beginning at 1:30pm.
