Harley Helmuth

Harley Helmuth, age 77, of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, formerly of Pyrmont, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Upper Valley Medical Center.

He was born August 25, 1937, in Kokomo, Indiana, to his parents, Truman & Mary (Hershberger) Helmuth. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Elnora (Reavis) Helmuth.

He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife, Patricia (Boone, Landes) Helmuth; children and their spouses, Rodney & Anna Helmuth of Marcellus, Michigan, Regina & Maurice Wolf of Cutler, Indiana, Rebecca & Donald Root of Modesto, California; step children, Rodney & Debbie Landes of Modesto, California, Danita & Pete Bussey of Greenville, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Carrie Landes of Modesto, California; brother and sister-in-law, Emory & Alma Helmuth of Plain City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler & Amanda Helmuth, Michelle, Riley, Hannah, Asher, Matthias, Thaddaeus, Micah, Malinda, and Lydia Helmuth, Wyatt & Preston Landes, Britton & Tammi Bussey, Clayton Bussey, and Kate & Jordan Turner; great grandchildren, Annika and Chloe Bussey, and Lily Ann Turner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sherman & Arlene Boone, Sharon & Gary Lavy, Marilyn& Marion Rogers, Danielle & Sam Wray, Gordon & Marlene Boone, Emily Bauman, Richard & Bonnie Reavis, Clarence & Ardis Reavis, Ruthie Reavis, and Nancy and Herbert Bauman.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, New Conference, Cutler Ridge District, 3521 S. State Route 75, Cutler, Indiana, 46920. Interment will follow at North Fork Old German Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Sunday, April 19, at Jackson-Sarver Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Covington, Ohio, and from 3-8 PM Monday, April 20, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel, 450 St. Rt. 39, Rossville, Indiana.
