Harris Glen Wagoner, 79, of Rossville, departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville.
He was born April 26, 1934, in Clinton County, the son of Alva Glen and Virginia Mae Patrick Wagoner.
Harris lived his entire life in the Mulberry and Rossville areas. He attended Mulberry School. He worked for Purdue University in Lafayette on their hog farms for over 20 years. Harris committed his life to Christ and was baptized in 1954. He was a lifelong member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Harris had a keen interest in church activities, family and community events.
Surviving Harris are his loving sisters, Ruby Jenkins of Rossville and Joan Cover (husband, Raymond) of Zillah, WA; two nieces and five nephews and their families.
Harris is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Ralph H. Jenkins.
Visitation for Harris will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service for Harris will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church with the Home Brethren officiating.
