Harry Dennis âDennyâ Marsh, 72, of Frankfort passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home. He was born December 26, 1944 in Gary to Harry Alford and Ada Marie (Henson) Marsh.
Denny graduated from Clinton Central in 1963, was a machinist for Federal Mogul for over 32 years and continued working after moving to Tucson, Arizona. He enjoyed fishing at the lake house, golfing and spending time on the golf cart.
In 1972, Denny married Kathryn Ann Young with whom they celebrated 44 years of marriage. She preceded him in death in 2016. Denny was also preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Melanie Marie and his parents.
Surviving family includes one son, Doug (Karlena) Marsh of Mulberry and one daughter, Michelle (Rick) Cox of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Keli (Lee) Anthrop of Rossville and Kevin Marsh of Lafayette; one great-granddaughter, Reece; three brothers, Jim Marsh of Texas, Jack Marsh of New York and Richard Marsh of Texas; one sister, Joan Strange of Indianapolis and special niece and nephew, Cheryl Young and Steve Thill of Rico, Arizona.
Visitation will be from 2-4:00p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. The funeral service will begin at 4:00p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Cliff Howell officiating and will conclude with the Masonic Funeral Rite. Casual dress or fishing attire has been requested honoring Denny during services. Donations in memory of Denny may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.
