Herman W. Fausett, 87, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Wesley Manor. He was born August 13, 1937, in Clinton County to Dewey and Nellie Fausett. He married FreDona Williams on September 19, 1965. She preceded him in passing on March 21, 2018.
Herman was a graduate of Clinton Central High School. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a jack of all trades, driving trucks, and then working at Purdue University for 20 years in their hospitality department. He was a past member of the Eagles Lodge. He loved working on jigsaw puzzles. Herman never knew a stranger and loved making new friends. He would often greet you with a piece of candy he carried in his pocket, affectionately becoming known as the “Candy Man.” He was loved by those that met and knew him.
Herman is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Mark) Williams; siblings, Herb Fausett, Arthur Fausett, Wayne Fausett, Gene Fausett, Viola Jarvis; sister-in-law, Peggy Fausett; five grandchildren, Dakotah, Glen, Wil, Marissa, and Olivia; and two great-grandchildren, Princeton and Paxton.
Along with his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Perry; and siblings, Arnold Fausett, Vaughn Fausett, Mary Murdock, and Paul Fausett.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1pm until the time of the memorial service at 3pm at Wesley Manor Amanda Reid Chapel. Pastor Deborah Musick will officiate.
