Isabelle W. Thrush, 87, of Frankfort, died Thurs., Feb. 23, 2012 at 2:15 PM at the Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
Born August 24, 1924 to P.F. & Edna (Fred) Thrush in Indianapolis, she graduated from Shortridge High School. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Butler and her Master's Degree from IU. Isabelle taught grade school for 35 years in Indianapolis. She enjoyed needlepoint. She moved to Frankfort in 1995, having previously lived in Indianapolis, California and Richmond.
Survivors include one niece, Bonnie Dan of Summerville, SC and one sister-in-law, Venessa Thrush.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gerald Thrush.
Services will be held at the Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel, Wesley Manor on Mon., Feb. 27 at 10:30 AM, Chaplain Ron Mann officiating. Calling will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
