Jack L. Draper

Jack Lloyd Draper, 79, Flora, passed away at his residence, Monday, January 3, 2022.  He was born August 25, 1942, in Burlington to Lloyd and Beaulah (Kirkpatrick) Draper.  He married Fama Reed on May 26, 1964, in Delphi and she survives.

Jack was a graduate of Flora High School.  Jack worked for Swab Safe of Lafayette, Wabash National in Lafayette and Zinn’s Kitchen Inc. in Flora.   Jack was a car fanatic, and enjoyed building engines, working on and restoring cars, and racing cars.  But above all, Jack was a family man.  He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a spoiling grandfather.  He loved spending time with his family.

Along with his wife of 57 years, Jack is survived by his children, Jack “Jr.” Draper, Teressa Brummett, Leslie Snapp, Ryan Draper and Cathy Goforth, Toni and Royce Tharp; siblings, Ron (Kathy) Draper, Jim (Linda) Draper, Renita (Ron) Carmen, Pat (Gary) Yeakley; grandchildren, Nikki Snapp, Colby Snapp, Triston Draper, Cogan Draper, Chay McCarty, Chelton McCarty, Alexsis Brooks, Addison Brooks, Sage Draper, Arri Draper, Savannah Draper; and great grandchildren, Kinley Brooks, Kendalynn Brooks, Khloe Proffitt, Kitana Cordell, Bella Perry, Ronin Hicks, Aspen Daily, Keelie Snapp, Kayden Snapp.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rick Draper.
