Jacqueline Kay Shedron

Jacqueline Kay “Jaccie” Shedron, 46, of Mulberry, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017, following an automobile accident.

She was born May 31, 1971, in Tipton, to Carolyn Woods Stowers; her mother preceded her in death.  On June 11, 1994, she married Chad R. Shedron; he survives.  

In 1990, Jaccie graduated from Rossville High School and then furthered her education at Vincennes University and later at Ball State University.  She taught high school English for four years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to their children.  Jaccie was talented in speech and theatre; she enjoyed flowers, cooking, and especially attending her children’s numerous activities.  She was a member of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette.

In addition to her husband, Jaccie is survived by her children, Carolyn, Sophia, Victoria, Catherine, Olivia, and Nicholas; foster parents, Robert and Linda Cleveland, of Rossville; and sister, Diane (Aaron) Bicking.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service in Jacccie’s honor will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Allen Weldy officiating.  Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.  Memorials in Jaccie’s name may be made to the Rossville School Foundation.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
