James H. Robbins, 88, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
He was born October 9, 1928, in Frankfort, to Russell and Bernadine Morrison Robbins. On November 8, 1947, he married Beverly Jean âJeanieâ Perkins; she survives.
Jim graduated from Frankfort High School in 1947 and later from technical school. He was a partner and air conditioning tech at JW Ridgway before his retirement. Jim was a past Frankfort County Club member, 50 year member of the Moose, and member of the Eagles. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, and watching any sporting event that involved his grandkids.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his son, Tim (Debbie) Robbins, of Frankfort; daughter, Cindy Buntin, of Frankfort; brother, Ed Robbins, of PA; sisters, Becky Williams, of CA, and Margie Bryner, of VA; grandchildren, Adam (Jessica), Brandi (Kory), Charlee (Brent), Chad (Jenny), and Amy (Corky); and great-grandchildren, Katy, Gracyn, Lauryn, Paige, Lydia, Natalie, Emree, Henry James, and Bruin.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Charles Robbins and Tommy Robbins; and sisters, Mary Phillips and Sara Phillips.
No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jimâs name may be made to Serenity Hospice or Community Christian Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
