James ""Jim"" Wessell

James “Jim” Wessell Jr., 62, of Frankfort, passed Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at his home.

He was born August 29, 1952, in Frankfort, to James Sr. and Nova L. Baker Wessell.  Jim was formerly married to Chris Donoho.  On December 1, 1993, he married Darcy Ummel; she survives.

Jim worked at Frito Lay in Frankfort for 30 years.  He enjoyed antiquing and auctions.  Jim was a member of the Antique Tractor Club.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his children, Jimmy (Vonnie) Wessell III, Brett Wessell, Christopher Amptmeyer, and Colt Wessell, all of Frankfort, and Magnum Wessell (fiancé, Crystal) of Enterprise, AL; brother, Kenny Wessell of Frankfort; sister, Linda Wessell of Washington; and five grandchildren.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sue.

Visitation for Jim will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 2:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
