James Lee Snyder, 60, a lifelong Frankfort resident, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at his home.
He was born October 10, 1954, in Kokomo, to Emil and Marjorie Stockberger Snyder Jr. James was formerly married to Peggy Cripe.
James attended Clinton Central High School. From 1972-1974, James served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked at Sun Chemical for 30 years. Earlier in life, James had played drums in âRaven Band.â James was a member of the Eagles Lodge and past member of the Moose and V.F.W. His Harley and golf were important but âSadieâ dog was his BFF.
Surviving are one daughter, Stacy (Jason) Rednour; three sisters, Linda (John) Winkler, Sharon (John) Smith, and Karen (Donnie) Stillwell; one brother, Lewis (Romane) Stockberger; one granddaughter, Hannah Lowery; best friend, Chris Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Miranda; sister, Vickie; and one grandson, Eric.
