Jane Pletch, 70, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born July 16, 1945, in Conway, AR, to Linzy and Martha Faye Hall Crick. Jane was previously married to Terry Pletch.
Jane graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1963, and continued her education at the Police Academy and Training. Throughout her life, she was a jail officer for Clinton County Sheriffâs Office and retired from Parkview as their night caretaker. In her retirement, Jane was a bus aide for CSF. She enjoyed gardening, attending auctions, and crafting. Jane had the gift of âfun,â and it was contagious.
Surviving Jane are one son, Bart Pletch of Kokomo; three daughters, Anita (Jeff) Stewart of Frankfort, Teresa Wood of Franklin, TN, and Kim Pletch of Frankfort; three sisters, Omia Jean Donoho, Betty Crick, and Caryline Huffer, all of Frankfort; and nine grandchildren, James, Misty, Samantha, and Brandon Stewart, Brody Pletch, and Brandon, Taylor, and Makinna Wood.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Shirley Wood and Wanda Wooley; and one brother, Jim âBubâ Crick.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Martin officiating.
