Jason Neil Goyer

Jason Neil Goyer, 49, of Rossville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. He was born December 14, 1975, in Frankfort to Jerry and Nancy (Hitch) Goyer. 

Jason graduated from Rossville High School, class of 1994. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Purdue University. He worked in security for most of his career, most recently at Subaru. He enjoyed playing Euchre and was very competitive at it. He loved spending time with family. He is remembered for his fun sense of humor and his caring heart. 

Jason is survived by his parents; his siblings Ross (Joni) Goyer and Rachel (Richard) Naylor; his four nieces and an “adopted” son Jayce Allen. 

He was preceded in death by his brother Guy Goyer; and both sets of grandparents. 

A private family service will be held at a later date. Day & Genda Funeral home is assisting with arrangements. He will be laid to rest at the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
