Jeanine âSueâ Wright, 69, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014, at Clinton House Rehab and Health Care in Frankfort.
She was born February 15, 1945, in Kokomo, to Ernest Leroy Hommel and Marie Jeanette Wood Hommel Rahe. Sue was formerly married to Frederick Alan Wright.
Sue graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1963 after being raised by her grandparents, J.V. and Jennie Wood. She lived in Michigantown until 1970 before moving to Frankfort. Sue worked at Federal Mogul for 37 years before retiring in 2002. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano and had played at Scircleville Baptist Church in the past.
Surviving Sue are her step-father, Edward Lawrence Rahe; daughters, Alana (Joe) Williams and Deanna (Jeff) Vice, both of Frankfort; grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Zachary, Taylor, and Brandee; great grandchildren, Logan James and Zachary Ryan Jr.; and two sisters, Jennifer Lynn Rahe and Jacquelyn Marie Rahe-Blais.
Sue is preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 10:00 a.m. to the start of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sueâs name may be made to Clinton County Cancer.
