Jeffrey Gerald Fortner
Jeffrey Gerald Fortner, 54, of rural Frankfort passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette.
He was born June 30, 1963, in Indianapolis to Larry Dale and Jerilyn Kay (Goodwin) Fortner; his mother survives in Indianapolis. His father passed away February 17, 2016. On November 26, 2016, Jeffrey married Melissa Pearl Huston in Las Vegas; she survives.
Jeffrey graduated from Proctor High School in Proctor, MN, in 1981. He worked for TK Constructors as a superintendent. He had been the past president of the New England ND Lions Club, and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the cabin in Minnesota.
In addition to his wife, Melissa Pearl Fortner, Jeffrey is survived by his mother; sons, Victor Steven Fortner, of Rochester, MN, and Jesse Dale Fortner, of New Brighton, MN; daughters, Acasia (Collin) Wegner, of Rochester, MN, and Nicole Lillian Olson, of Coon Rapids, MN; two grandchildren, Jace Ryan Fortner and Delilah Lane Fortner; special aunt, Marilyn Goodwin, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Dottie Jo Fortner,
