Jeffrey T. âJeffâ Downham, 54, of Frankfort, passed away March 22, 2015, at his home.
He was born November 20, 1960, in Lafayette, to Bobby E. Downham and Jane Grenat Downham-Burkhalter.
Surviving are his mother, Jane (Dale) Burkhalter; brothers, Brian Downham, Bret (Cindy) Downham, and Erik Downham; step-brothers, Randy (Donna) Burkhalter and Larry Burkhalter; step-sister, Jill (Howard) Payne; maternal grandmother, Mary Grenat; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Jeff is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Cecil Grenat; and paternal grandparents, Thurston and Minnie Downham.
A graveside service in Jeffâs memory will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lafayette. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
