Jeremy Lee Scott, 44, of Burlington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 7, 2018.

He was born November 11, 1973, in Lafayette.  His parents, Jerry L. Scott and Margie Reed Garvin, survive.  On July 12, 2015, Jeremy married Angela A. Wiggam; she survives.

A life-long resident of Carroll County, Jeremy attended Carroll County Junior/Senior High School.  He then served in the Army National Guard.  Jeremy was a “professional Pop-Pop,” enjoying his time with his sons and granddaughter, Rosie.  He will be remembered as a good-natured guy who loved to joke and give people a hard time.  Jeremy enjoyed playing video games and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jeremy is survived by his sons, Seth T. (Kayla) Scott, of Lafayette, and Schuyler M. Scott, of Burlington; step-son, Joseph Morales, of Logansport; brother, Carl L. (Tina) Scott, of Cutler; half-brothers and half-sisters, Roni Smith, Jeff Scott, Adam Scott, and Wendy Scott; granddaughter, Rosemary J. Scott; a grandchild on the way, grandmother, Bernice Burge; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and step-son, Meliano Morales.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, Jeremy would be honored for donations to made toward his granddaughter’s future education and mailed to Rosemary J. Scott, P.O. Box 6835, Lafayette, IN  47903.  Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora, with online condolences directed to  www.gendafuneralhome.com.
