Jerry R. Cash, 71, of rural Frankfort passed away September 29, 2014 at 4:58 p.m. at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born April 1, 1943, in Noblesville, the son of John A. and Rosemary Lundsford Cash. Jerry was married to Janice L. Kinslow for 13 years.
Jerry graduated from Mulberry High School in 1961. Jerry served with the National Guard. He was the owner and operator of Jerryâs Shoes in Frankfort and a Certified Pedorthic Footwear Tech, receiving his certification through Ball State University in Pedorthic Management; Jerry also worked as a locksmith, receiving his certification through IU Kokomo. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church and enjoyed working with horses.
Surviving Jerry are his wife; daughters, Deborah Wells, Jackie Sheets, and Jamie Hardesty; son, Matt Hardesty; brother, Larry (wife, Marilyn) Cash; sister, Marcia Wooldridge, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Johnny Cash; and sister, Sandra Gaylor.
Graveside services will be held at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation ½ hour prior to the service with the Rev. Bateman presiding.
