Jerry W. Fultz, 73, of rural Mulberry, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at home with family.
He worked for Eli Lily in Quality Control Specialist 28 years, retired 1998.
He lived most of life in Mulberry & Tippecanoe County, graduated Monitor High School in 1957 & was a US Army veteran. Jerry was warm and outgoing, never meeting a stranger, was a woodworker, gardener and his most precious garden was his family.
He was a member of Mulberry United Methodist Church; Mulberry Community Club; American Legion Post 11; & Mulberry Conservation Club; & served on a vast amount of church boards.
Born Jan. 10, 1939, in Tippecanoe County, he was the son of Everett & Rose (Sherry) Fultz.
He married Wilma Servis on Nov. 5, 1966 and she survives.
Surviving are his wife of Mulberry are three daughters, Lisa (husband Lonnie) Moyer, Mulberry, Brooke (husband Matt) Hake, Fishers, & Theresa; two sons, Jerry & Kelly; two sisters, Janet Wright, Clarks Hill & Phyllis Neuenfeld, Daytona Beach, FL, one brother, Bill, Mt. Dora, FL; three grandchildren, Nicholas Moyer, Owen & Isaiah Hake; & two stepgranddaughters, Brittney & Tosha.
Services will be Thurs., Feb. 9, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Mulberry United Methodist Church with Pastor Nancy Richmond officiating. Burial will be at Fair Haven Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4:00-8:00 Wed., Feb. 8 at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry, and on Thurs. at the church for one hour prior to service. Memorials may be designated to the Mulberry United Methodist Church Trustee Building Fund.
