Jesus Medrano

Jesus Medrano, 23, of Indianapolis, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17, 1997 to Jesus and Martha Lopez Medrano.

Jesus graduated from Frankfort High School in 2016 and had attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He worked for Aurora Company in Lebanon as a fork truck operator. He liked to RAP, enjoyed low rider cars, weightlifting but especially loved Doberman dogs. He will always be remembered as being very friendly.

In addition to his parents, Jesus is survived by his brothers, Angel Medrano and Alejandro Medrano of Frankfort; sister, Crystal Medrano of Frankfort and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Antonio Medrano.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9 am to 11:30 am at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral mass will start at 12 noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort. Memorials may be made to Genda Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.

In adherence to the current CDC guidelines, it is requested that guests follow the appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.  Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
