Jimmy Ray Keaton, 81, of Mulberry, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Aperion Health in Frankfort. He was born September 30, 1937 in Wheelright, KY to Raymond and Sally (Miniard) Keaton. He served in the United States Army before having several jobs across the country which included, Shipyard working in Long Beach, CA, maintenance at a hospital in Rusk, TX, repair man at Sears, and Stocker at Wal-mart. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed golfing, fishing, computer poker, and watching western movies starring John Wayne.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 10 years, Mildred (Osmun) Keaton; children, Patty (Randy) Keaton- Parks of Boyleston, Matthew (Jennifer) Keaton of Spring, TX; step-children, Larry (Michele) Tansey of Mulberry, Connie (Scott) Alexander of Mulberry, Crystal (Dennis) Townsley of Frankfort, Shelly Tansey of Rossville; sister Patsy Pence of Hopkinsville, KY; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Genda Funeral Home Mulberry Chapel.
