John Henry Scott

John Henry Scott, 50, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015, at his home.

He was born July 22, 1964, to William and Dorothy Spears Scott; his mother preceded him in death.  John Henry married Christina Hetrick; she survives.

John Henry attended Frankfort Schools.  He was the owner and operator of Scott’s Roofing for 35 years with his brother, William.

In addition to his wife, John Henry is survived by his father and step-mother, William and Suzy Scott; one son, John Henry Scott Jr.; two daughters, Christy Scott and Abigail Scott; two brothers, William Scott and Kevin Scott; half-brothers and sisters, John Scott, Belinda Scott, Mary Scott, Nathan Scott, Oscar Scott, Harold Scott, and Kelly Scott; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kathaleen, Rosa, Sofia, Natasha, Kristina, Maria, Angelia, and soon to be born, John Henry III.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Lewis Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
