Judy Walters, 57, of Noblesville and formerly of Flora, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at her home.
She was born June 22, 1958, in Winamac, to Charles âFrankâ and Joan Harshbarger Walters; her parents preceded her in death.
Judy attended Delphi Community Schools. She worked as a CNA, cashier, and activity director in the healthcare field. Judy loved to watch Storage Wars and Dog the Bounty Hunter. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch, planting flowers, working in her vegetable garden, and visiting with family and friends. Judy loved animals especially rescuing and adopting them; the neighborhood dogs knew to find dog biscuits out of the back of her wheel chair.
Surviving are two sisters, Jean Walters and Janice Walters; âgiftsâ to her family, Christina Gainey and her daughter, Katie Campbell, and Jared and Misty Lindley and their son, Grayson Jacob; and her fur babies, Mattie and Snickers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora, from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Bruce Pawlak will officiate. Burial will follow in Rockfield I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials in Judy's name may be made to Hamilton County Humane Society.
