June Ann Baum

June Ann Baum, 83, of Flora, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at her home.

She was born March 15, 1930, in Bringhurst, the daughter of Arthur and Nancy Anderson Ayres.  June married Billy Joe Baum; he preceded her in death April 11, 2004.  

June was a lifelong Carroll County resident.  She was employed at Sayco and attended First Brethren Church in Flora.  She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.  June loved spending time with her family.

Surviving June are two children, Jerilyn Flora (fiancé: Ronald French) and William Lee Baum; two grandchildren, Nicole (Matthew) Johnson and Nathaniel (Amber) Flora; four great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Johnson, Hayden Mackey, Serenity Flora, and Berlynn Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents and husband, June is preceded in death by one daughter, Tracey Baum; two brothers, Jerry Ayres and Michael DeVore; and one sister, Linda Bennett.

Visitation for June will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the funeral service at 11 a.m.   Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.  Memorials in June’s name may be made to the Carroll County Food Pantry.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
