Karen Louise Klingler

Karen Louise Klingler, 65, of Lawton, O.K. and formerly of Lawrence, IN, died on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

She was born September 6, 1947, in Webster, S.D., the daughter of Kenneth and Violet Schmig Gilberts.  Her mother survives in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Karen married David Lee Klingler; he survives.

For many years, Karen was a daycare provider.  She enjoyed stitch art.

In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by one son, Daniel (Tonya) Klingler of Frankfort; three sisters, Cheryl Lynde, Judy Jensen, and Pam Peterson; two brothers, Dale Gilberts and Mel Gilberts; six grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Beverly Gilberts.

Visitation for Karen will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 9:00 a.m. to the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Jake Fisher will officiate.  Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Marion National Cemetery.
