Kathleen Ann âKathyâ Hufford, 46, of Rossville, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette following an automobile accident.
She was born May 21, 1971, in Lafayette, to David L. and Virginia A. Terry Shuman; her mother survives. On February 22, 1992, she married Randy Hufford in Pendleton; he survives.
In 1989, Kathy graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. She was a homemaker and excellent home school instructor and member of First Baptist Church of Delphi. Kathy was a mom to everyone and always cooking. She had an amazing memory especially for numbers with organization skills like no one else. Kathy loved to travel and take photos; Hawaii would have been her last state to visit. The whole family enjoyed their time spent camping and traveling as well.
In addition to her husband and mother, Kathy is survived by her children, Katelyn, Ashley, Justin, and Megan; brother, Jeffrey L. (Tricia) Shuman, of Flora; twin sister, Bethany A. (Craig) Skiles, of Rossville; mother and father-in-law, Joyce & Richard Root, of Rossville; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law, Doran Hufford.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 1:00 â 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 â 8:00 p.m. Funeral service for Kathy will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Delphi with Pastor Bill Glenn officiating.
