Kathleen Kingery Sheets, 86, of rural Frankfort, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at her home.
She was born April 29, 1926, in Carroll County, the daughter of Dale D. and Opal Pritsch Kingery.
On March 5, 1944, she married Harry J. Sheets; he survives.
Kathleen was a lifelong resident of Clinton and Carroll Counties. She was Class of 1944 graduate of Cutler High School. She worked as both a farmer and a homemaker. Kathleen was a member of Trinity United Methodist church where she was a member of Mary Innis Circle. She was a past county president and member of Union Township and a member of Clinton County Extension Homemakers. Kathleen also served as a Pink Lady and volunteered at the library.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Beth Jean Bailey of Daleville, Virginia K. (Stephen) Larimore of Frankfort, and Janet M. (Paul) Dorsey of Frankfort; nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sisters, one son, Jerry Sheets; one grandson, Brad Sheets; and one son-in-law, Bruce Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jake Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
