Kathryn E. Stillwell

Kathryn E. Stillwell of Frankfort passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born in Dayton, the daughter of Daisy DeVoss.  Kathryn married Donald E. Stillwell; he preceded her in death on November 30, 2010.

Kathryn attended Dayton Schools.  She worked at Mallory Controls.  Kathryn attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of both the V.F.W. and American Legion.  Kathryn loved spending time with her family, working in the garden and taking trips to New York.

Surviving Kathryn are three sons, Donnie (Karen) Stillwell, Steven Stillwell, Stefan (companion, Mary) Stillwell, all of Frankfort; one daughter, Kelli (Dan) Perkins of Colfax; ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her mother and five brothers, Vincent, Wilson, Gordon, Ivan, and Russell.

Visitation for Kathryn will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.

Memorials in Kathryn’s name may be made to Rosario Saavedra for her kidney transplant.
