Kathryn L Reef

Kathryn L. Pearson Reef, 91, of Bringhurst, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Brownsburg Health Care Center. She was born on March 14, 1925 in Flora, IN, the daughter of the late Clarence and Nora (Albaugh) Wilson.

Kathryn was a 1943 graduate from Flora High School and was a member of the Bringhurst United Methodist Church which she joined at the age of 14.Kathryn enjoyed crossword puzzles, computer games, reading and sewing. Anyone who knows Kathryn knows not to bother her during her soaps especially Days of Our Lives.

She is survived by her children, Marcia Kelly and Ramona Adams both of Brownsburg, 5 grandchildren, Kaley, Barri (Kevin), Janel (Roger), Tim (Amanda) and Ryan (Tarrah), 9 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Kathryn preceded in death by parents, husbands, Loyd Pearson and Sam Reef, 2 brothers, 1  sister, son’s-in-law, Michael Kelly and Terry Adams and step-daughter, Creta Hollis.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Bringhurst United Methodist Church, with Pastor Joe Boggs officiating service, burial to follow at the Maple Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am till time of service at the church. Memorials can be made to the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. Special thanks to Brownburg Health Care and Kindred Hospice staff.
