Kathy Lorine McGibbon

Kathy Lorine McGibbon, 66, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at home. She was born in Marion on June 8, 1954 to Garnie and Thelma (Horn) Minix.  She married Greg McGibbon and they divorced. She then spent 40 years with her life-time partner, Roger Browning; he preceded her in death on September 13, 2020.

Kathy graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1973. She worked in management at Wendy’s for 30 years in Frankfort and Carmel. She liked to cook for her family, but mostly loved to spend time with her grandkids.

Surviving with her daughters, Wendi Cox (Jason) of Kirklin and Kyla Gabel (Matt) of Florida; her brother, Darrell Minix (Lachita); her sisters, Fran McCoy and Tammy Edgington (Brady); and her grandkids, Brett Hartsock, Garrett Hartsock, Logan Hartsock, Kinsley Gabel, and Parker Gabel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Justin and brother, Wayne.

At this time there are no services planned. Genda Funeral Home, in Frankfort, is entrusted with the arrangements.
