Kay Mocherman, 77, of Cutler, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 20, 1947, in Frankfort to Arthur and Vivian (Hickerson) Pickering. She married Carl Mocherman on October 22, 1966, he preceded her in passing on June 13, 2018.
Kay was a graduate of Frankfort High School. She worked as a rural route carrier for the Flora Post Office until her retirement December 31, 2011. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, going to tractor pulls with her husband, and taking trips on matching scooters with her husband. Above all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time and making memories with them.
Kay is survived by her children, Brooke, Holly, Abby, and Clay; sisters, Carol Mitchell and Jean Cohee; sisters-in-law, Barbara Briles and Linda Pickering; grandchildren, Kyela, Cody, Cole and Muriel; great grandchildren, Jennah and Yousuf.
Along with her husband of 51 years, she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jay Pickering, Joe Pickering, and Peggy Houze.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2pm at Zion Citizens Cemetery in Bringhurst. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
