Kenneth E. âKennyâ Douglass, 64, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at his home.
He was born April 8, 1951, in Lebanon, to Bob Lee and Anna Belle Hiland Douglass. On November 26, 1986, he married Teresa Mays; she survives.
Kenny graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1969. He retired on July 8, 2015, after 35 years from Frankfort City Light and Power. He was a past member of IBEW Union. Kenny was Assistant Fire Chief and member of the Michigantown Volunteer Fire Department and member of Moose Lodge No. 07. Kenny enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking including being a volunteer cook at the Moose Lodge, playing horseshoes, bowling, and camping.
In addition to his wife, Kenny is survived by his mother, two children, Matt Huffer of Frankfort, and Brandi (Robert) McCoy of Lafayette; four brothers, Terry (Betty) Douglass of New London, Roger (Cindy) Douglass of Kirklin, Eric Douglass of Boyleston, and Daniel (Tamara) Douglass of Attica; one sister, Connie (Don) Earl of Frankfort; and three grandchildren, Makayla Marie Huffer, Brody Alexander Pletch, and Kaden Paul McCoy.
A casual gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Moose Lodge No. 7 in Frankfort, from 2:00 p.m. to the start of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Kennyâs life after with a pitch in dinner at the Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kennyâs name may be made to Moose Lodge No. 7 or Clinton County Cancer. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
