Kenneth Wayne âKennyâ Fisher, 59, of Hemet, CA, formerly of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, in Frankfort.
He was born July 14, 1954, in Frankfort, the son of Robert D. and Betty (Lank) Fisher, former owners of Fisher Grocery and âDocâ Killem Pest Control. He married the former Lancy Gaines on April 22, 2007; she survives.
Kenny was a 1974 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and was a âWoodside Woodchuck.â He was a Boy Scout and enjoyed driving in street stock racing in both California and Florida. He was a member of the car club, Valley Cruzers, and member of Hemet Elks Lodge. Kenny worked for Macco Paint and Body for over 20 years in California and was owner and operator of Freddieâs Fix It. He was a past EMT at Shipleyâs Ambulance Service in Frankfort and Florida.
In addition to his wife, Kenny is survived by one son, Gresham (Mendie) Fisher of Ohio; two daughters, Revelle Craft and Karen Fisher; one step daughter, Sabrina Merrick of Canada; one sister, Kimberly (Michael) Mooney of Frankfort; and one granddaughter, Grace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Wayne Martin will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Due to circumstances beyond control, the family would appreciate memorials be made to assist with funeral expenses.
