Kenney L. McKinney, 50, of Rossville, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born May 5, 1967, at Clinton County Hospital in Frankfort. His parents, John R. McKinney Jr. and Shirley Ann Finney Martin, preceded him in death. On June 20, 2009, he married Cindy R. Randolph at Grace Baptist Church in Scircleville; she survives.
Kenney attended Clinton Prairie High School and worked his work in roofing and meat cutting. He was a licensed meat cutter at Shop Wright and D & R Market. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanics and anything he could fidget with. Kenney also was known for dressing out deer for others.
Surviving Kenney are his step-father, Harold Martin, of Attica; step-mother, Mary Lou McKinney, of Frankfort; brothers and sisters, Dennis W. McKinney, of Attica, Teresa (Jim) Rohler, of Lafayette, Debbie (Kenny) Lipp, of Cutler, and Lynn McKinney, of Attica; four step-brothers, one step-sister, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenney is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Debora McKinney.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 3:30 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 5:30 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
