Kenni I. Montgomery

Kenni I. Montgomery, 50, of Frankfort, died at 8:28 p.m. on June 26, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born December 25, 1961, the daughter of Millard and Janice Pickering See from Frankfort.

In 1981, she married Michael Montgomery; he preceded her in death on April 12, 2011.

Kenni was a homemaker and ""mother to many.""  She helped with domestic violence reloation and volunteered with both the Boys and Girls Club and local school programs.

Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth Michael Montgomery,Tommy Lee Montgomery, and Gabriel Hobart Montgomery, all of Frankfort; one daughter, Chantilly Mills of Frankfort; two sisters, Sherel Thorne and Janessa Hall, both of Frankfort; and six grandchildren, Kage, Emily, Neveah, Jazmin, Hannah, and Michaela.

She is also preceded in death by her brother, Moe See.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from noon until the funeral service at 1 p.m.  Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
