Larry Shively

Larry A. Shively, 63, of Delphi, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.

He was born November 11, 1951, in Lafayette, to Robert and Helen Wise Shively.  Larry married Joyce Barnhart on June 12, 1971; she survives.

Larry graduated from Delphi High School.  He farmed and worked at Caterpillar prior to becoming owner and operator of Shively Welding.  Larry enjoyed sports especially racing.  

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his son, Eric Shively; daughter, Lisa (Paul) Hymel; sister, Linda (Leon) Welk; and grandchildren, Luke Hymel and Haelyn Hymel.

Visitation for Larry will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel.  Funeral service for Larry will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Pyrmont Cemetery.  Memorials in Larry’s name may be made to Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
