Laura L. McClelland

Laura L. McClelland, 65, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at her home.  She was born April 2, 1953, in San Diego, CA, to Walter G. and Martha Ellen (Metzger) Webb.  On March 25, 1972, Laura married Robert A. McClelland; he survived.

Laura graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Throughout her life, Laura was an entrepreneur in several different venues including Clementine’s Antiques and Collectibles in Kirklin, and was a past member of Zonta Club of Frankfort.  She was a lady of many talents and loves including arts, crafts, flower gardening, collecting antiques, knitting, cooking, decorating for Christmas, and her grandchildren.  Laura will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Laura is survived by her children, Amy (Brian) Waggoner, of Frankfort, R. Alex (Audrey) McClelland IV, of Westfield, and Maggie (Aaron) Lasley, of Zionsville; sisters, Linda McPherson and Lisa (Brian) Richards; grandchildren, Brett (Chanda), Martha Emily, Lucas, Elle, Claire, and Weston; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation in Laura’s memory will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Bunnell Cemetery.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
