Laura Jo Langkop

Laura Jo Langkop, 64, of Frankfort, departed from this life on June 23, 2022, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.

The daughter of John DeLancey and Marjorie (Garrison) DeLancey Wolf, Laura was born May 15, 1958 in Wabash Indiana.

Laura played both the guitar and piano, enjoyed crafting and woodworking, and loved spending time with her family.  Laura will be remembered for her fun-loving attitude and her love for helping others.  She was an avid Trump supporter and a true American patriot.

Laura worked at Frito Lay until 2000 when her health forced her to stop working.

Surviving Laura are her children, Billy (Angie) Mixson, Christina Mixson, Maggie Bauer, Ron Bauer and Aimee Bauer; her siblings, Sarah Hanaway, Charlie Wolf and Sharon Wolf; her stepfather, George Wolf; her seven grandchildren, Noah, Jackson, Braydon, Landon, Zakia, Skyler and Ryleigh; several nieces and nephews; and, of course, her beloved doggie, Spock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Terri Mayes and Jane Trueblood; and her brother David DeLancey.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 16, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home, Frankfort.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
