Lena Elizabeth Rickert
Lena Elizabeth Rickert, 98, of Frankfort passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Frankfort. She was born May 24, 1919 in Cambria to Doyal and Lillie (Herr) Dellinger.
Lena graduated Frankfort High School in 1938 and worked at Indiana Brass for over 36 years. She was a member of St. Matthewâs United Methodist Church and was a past member of Ladies of the Moose.
On December 22, 1948, Lena married Arthur Paul Rickert, with whom she celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary before he prededed her in death on July 20, 1979. She was also preceded in death by 5 sisters and one niece.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews spanning 4 generations and companion Richard Hurt.
In keeping with Lenaâs wishes, no services will be held with burial at Rossville Cemetery. Donations in memory of Lena may be made to St. Matthewâs United Methodist Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Genda Funeral Home, Frankfort. www.gendafuneralhome.com
