Linda D. Wood

Linda D. Creek Wood, 62, of Thorntown, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, at her home.

She was born March 13, 1952, in Frankfort, to Virginia Crumpton.

Linda was a cashier at McClure Fuel Stop.  She was a member of Old Oxford Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford, and attended Thorntown Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Surviving Linda are her children, Jerehmy Wood, Julie (David) Myers, and Nolan (Sara) Wood; brothers, Doug (Joni) Keeling, Brian Keeling, and Heath (LouAnn) Keeling; sisters, Tammy Devore, Terry Carter, and Marilyn Kovac; grandchildren, Kisa Diane Wood, Jered Allen Wallace, Therinda Wood, Bryanna Myers, Nathan Myers, Jesse Myers, Dennis Williams, Thomas Williams, Matthew Williams, Aerial Wood, Alyssa Wood, Avery Wood, Briar Wood, Braidan Wood, Daniel Williams, Jamey Williams, and Jared Williams; six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Linda is preceded in death by her grandparents, George B. and Mary Katherine Glass Crumpton; daughter, Leslie Wood; and brother, Myron Keeling.

Visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, at the funeral home with Pastor Don Ely officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
