Linda Fleming

Linda McCain Fleming, 69, of Westville, FL, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

She was born November 17, 1944, in Flora, the daughter of Joseph L. and Ada Denton McCain.  Linda married Pete Fleming; he preceded her in death.  

Linda worked as a cashier at Tom Thumb Convenience Store and as a bartender in Key West and Pennsicola.  

Surviving Linda are her five children, James (Diane) Schuhr of Birmingham, AL, Lorie Kilzer of Florida, John (Elizabeth) Schuhr of Atlanta, GA, Eric Fleming of Denver, CO, and Phillip Fleming of Westville, FL; three brothers, Joe (Janet) McCain, Robert (Judy) McCain, and Earl McCain; one sister, Dorothy Keeley, three grandchildren, Eric Dent, Erica Adams, and Vayda Schuhr; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda is preceded in death by a sister, Frances Hodges.

Visitation for Linda will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora from 9 a.m. until the beginning of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
